This committee provides local business women with opportunities for informal networking and strengthening of friendships while offering information on business topics for discussion. The committee also takes an active role in promoting the Chamber’s ATHENA AWARD, presented annually to an outstanding woman in business.

Monthly Meeting
There will be a monthly Women In Business Committee meeting the first Tuesday of every month at the Chamber's office. Check the Committees' Meeting Dates page for the next meeting time. This core group will be responsible to plan and implement the programs/projects sponsored by the Women in Business Committee.

  Join us for an entertaining and enlightening program on the do's and don'ts of effective networking. Bernice Garfield-Szita, MS, LPC, TEP and Bob Szita, MS, LPC, TEP, Directors of ActionArtz Training Institute of Marlboro, demonstrated through dramatic vignettes some common pitfalls and helpful skills we all need to know before we venture out to our next networking opportunity.

  This stimulating program was held at the historic Victorian Hepburn House Bed and Breakfast located at 15 Monument Street, Freehold. The inn keepers, Ron and Doris Lim prepared elegant tea and refreshments that sweeten this engaging event.
