Surviving
The Loss of A Loved One
“Healing takes place in the company of others
who understand & care.”
When someone we love dies, it can feel as though an important
part of ourselves has suddenly vanished. It is often hard to imagine
continuing to live through the pain and turmoil of grief. This
grief counseling program uses a wide range of interactive and
creative interventions to assist in the healing process. It is
designed to help participants:
- Understand predictable reactions to loss.
- Express powerful emotions such as anger, guilt or a sense
of abandonment.
- Cope with the demands of new roles.
- Learn relaxation skills.
- Initiate positive personal growth
- Find comfort learning that they are not alone.
